Hi I’m Andrea and I have a passion for all things crafty & I love the quirkiness of Flamingoes!
I’ve always loved crafting and will give anything a go except knitting which being left handed & taught to knit right handed is not pretty to watch!!
I grew up watching & admiring my mum’s ability to sew, she could always make something out of nothing as well as beautiful ballroom dresses & my bridesmaids dresses before she passed away.
I always made dressing up outfits, dance & synchronised swimming costumes & hairpieces for my children when they were younger but it wasn’t until The COVID-19 pandemic hit the world that I realised & believed that I could actually sew “real” items!!
I made over 1000 items for my local NHS heroes including scrubs, hats, bags & masks and discovered a real passion for sewing & the Oh Sew Flamingo Store was born!
Like everyone else I am conscience of the impact single use products have on the environment therefore all my products are made to be reusable washable & replace single use products.
I guess I’m following in my darling Mum’s footsteps & I only hope I make her proud. 🥰

All the products are designed and made by me, Andrea.My daughter Naomi helps with graphic design & my husband Darrin is the driver, gazebo erector & general help at my outdoor events.

Inline with our mission to replace single use items, we offer a repair & alteration servic.. This enables you to keep wearing your favourite items instead of simply throwing away clothes to replace with new! Working from my home sewing room based in Blofield Norfolk we also love to help you repurpose those items that you’ve maybe fallen out of love with, for example making a long coat into a jacket, trousers to shorts, a dress to a skirt, the possibilities are endless!!
